PETiks Dog Walkers As Seen On GMA7's UNANG HIRIT
Is your dog always confined inside a cage or your backyard? Is your dog exhibiting aggression towards humans and other animals? Is your dog chewing and biting everything in sight? Is your dog constantly pulling you when you're out for a walk?

If the answer is YES to any one of the questions above, then your dog is displaying behavioral problems caused by lack of physical and mental challenge! Imagine this: you are forced to stay inside the house for a few days with absolutely nothing to do, how would you feel? Exactly! You would feel restless, anxious, and frustrated! The same goes with dogs that have been caged or confined within walls for weeks and sometimes even years. They would feel the need to entertain themselves; hence, the behavioral problems they are manifesting.

However, we do understand that you are also juggling other responsibilities besides being a pet owner. If you have no time to walk your dog, let us help you provide the daily exercise that he or she needs.

Dog Walking

A dog, as an animal, is a traveler by instinct. Taking a dog out for a walk is an important ritual in keeping him/her physically and mentally in shape. Take your dog out for a walk for at least 45 minutes every day. If you don’t have the time, let us help you provide the daily exercise that your dog needs. As the saying goes, “A tired dog is a happy dog.”

Why It's So Important To Walk Your Dogs

Exercise is the most important part of your dog's health. In the wild, dogs roam for miles every day and that natural instinct to roam is still present in all dogs --- even yours. As much as walking is a physical exercise, it also allows dogs to be mentally stimulated. Through regular walking, many behavior issues can begin to be resolved. After a long walk, your dog is in a calm state of mind and is more receptive to training and behavior corrections.

Letting a dog out to relieve himself on the street does not constitute walking. Dog walking has a structure. There are rules to be followed and hierarchy to be respected. A big yard where your dogs can wander around is not enough as well. To your dog, your yard is nothing more than a large cage. They must be able to travel over a distance at a continuous pace every day to get the proper exercise that they need.
Suffice to say, daily exercise is very important. It will help keep your dog's muscles and heart healthy and with regular dog walking sessions, your dog will be much happier. Every dog should be walked for at least 45 minutes every day. However, the amount of walking exercise your dog may require will depend on the type of dog breed you have.

BENEFITS OF DOG WALKING:

1. Dog walking provides mental stimulation and socialization.
2. Regular exercise is important for your dog's physical health.
3. It can reduce your dogs excessive chewing, barking, and other behavior problems and issues.
